Nidahas Trophy: Shakib Al Hasan ruled out, Mahmudullah to lead Bangladesh

Batsman Liton Das was named in the squad as a replacement for Shakib.The star all-rounder was earlier included in the 16-man squad for the upcoming tournament as the board hoped Shakib would recover in time for the tournament but the BCB announced on Saturday that the cricketer has failed to recover from the injury.Shakib had injured his left hand during the final of the one-day international tri-series at home against Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe in January, and has been out of action since.Bangladesh squad for the Nidahas Trophy 2018.
