After surprising convincing defeat in French Metz over home team 42:28, which was second in a row after home loss against ZRK Buducnost, the chairman of Macedonian champions decided to change the coach again!Spaniard David Davis is going back to the men’s team for the second time, where he will continue to work as an assistant of Raul Gonzales. David was the third solution on the bench in this season as long-term coach Indira Kastratovic was replaced by Samsonenko in the middle of the season. After few matches on the bench, Russian boss put Davis in charge. The new coach is Irina Dibirova (ex Poltoratskaya), one of the biggest names of Russian handball in the last decade, fantastic playmaker, but without any coaching experience. The wife of Timur Dibirov will try to reach the basic goal – qualifing to Women’s EHF Champions League Final4 in Budapest, as quarter-final is already ensured. However, coach with lack of experience will hardly help the team who is desperately looking for the European elite competition title.PHOTO: Click to comment ShareTweetShareShareEmaillast_img read more

In return, Iran will get a temporary easing of some sanctions.“It achieves a great deal,” said President Obama. “For the first time in nearly a decade, we have halted the progress of the Iranian nuclear program, and key parts of the program will be rolled back.” The deal, reached during a marathon session in Geneva that ended at 3:00 am, represents a historic breakthrough in the world’s decade-long nuclear standoff with Iran, and in the 35-year-long diplomatic freeze between Iran and the United States.Obama spoke personally with Iran’s new president Hassan Rouhani earlier this fall. Rouhani sees the deal as an assertion of Iran’s right to nuclear energy.Secretary of State John Kerry said the next phase of negotiations – while even more difficult – will also be more consequential, because the ultimate goal of a comprehensive agreement will make the world safer.(READ the details from NBC News)Photo of by Iran’s president meeting with EU leaders – by Mojtaba Salimi – CCAddThis Sharing ButtonsShare to FacebookFacebookFacebookShare to TwitterTwitterTwitterShare to EmailEmailEmailShare to RedditRedditRedditShare to MoreAddThisMorelast_img read more

Kaya eyes repeat vs Mendiola in PH Football today

first_img The Iloilo-Mendiola tussle is set at 4 p.m. to be followed by the matchup between two-time defending League champions Ceres-Negros FC and Green Archers United FC at 7 p.m. The Ilonggos is at second and remains in striking distance for the League title with its 43 points, on 14 wins, one draw and three losses, behind Ceres-Negros that had 50 points. MANILA – Kaya Futbol Club Iloilo aims to keep its mastery of Mendiola 1991 FC when the two football clubs square off in the 2019 Philippines Football League today at the Aboitiz Pitch in Lipa, Batangas. Kaya Iloilo head coach Noel Marcaida reminded his players not to take Mendiola lightly as the latter was coming off a convincing 4-1 victory over the Philippine Air Force FC on Sunday. “It’s important to have control of the tempo from start to finish, especially as they (Mendiola) are coming from a commanding victory,” Marcaida said. “It’s important that we stay sharp and build momentum heading into our busy run of fixtures.” Today’s encounter will be the third time that the two teams face each other this season. Kaya Iloilo first defeated Mendiola on June 19 to the tune of 6-3 before following it up with a 5-0 blanking on July 27. “We can’t allow ourselves to concede an early goal to Mendiola like what happened in our first encounter,” Marcaida said. “Also, they are very good at defending deep and breaking very quickly when they recover possession.”/PNlast_img read more
