After surprising convincing defeat in French Metz over home team 42:28, which was second in a row after home loss against ZRK Buducnost, the chairman of Macedonian champions decided to change the coach again!Spaniard David Davis is going back to the men’s team for the second time, where he will continue to work as an assistant of Raul Gonzales. David was the third solution on the bench in this season as long-term coach Indira Kastratovic was replaced by Samsonenko in the middle of the season. After few matches on the bench, Russian boss put Davis in charge. The new coach is Irina Dibirova (ex Poltoratskaya), one of the biggest names of Russian handball in the last decade, fantastic playmaker, but without any coaching experience. The wife of Timur Dibirov will try to reach the basic goal – qualifing to Women’s EHF Champions League Final4 in Budapest, as quarter-final is already ensured. However, coach with lack of experience will hardly help the team who is desperately looking for the European elite competition title.PHOTO: gol.mk Click to comment ShareTweetShareShareEmaillast_img read more

A Former Browns WR Has Been Released; Should the Team Take a Look?

first_imgFormer Browns wide out Terrelle Pryor has unexpectedly hit the market, should the Browns take a look at him?The story of Terrelle Pryor and his time in the NFL has been an interesting one, as he has made a successful transition from quarterback to wide out, with his coming out as a receiver coming back in 2016 with the Browns. That season he caught 77 passes for 1007 yards and four scores, but the team and Pryor couldn’t come to a deal that following offseason, as he ended up with the Washington Redskins. After one down season in which he caught just 20 passes for the Skins, he inked a one-year, $4.5 million deal, which included a $1 million signing bonus, with the Jets in March. Now – he’s free to anyone. The Jets announced today that Pryor has been released, this despite catching a touchdown pass in each of the Jets’ past two games, and overall pulling in 14 receptions for 235 yards on the season. The reason for the release is due to a a tear in his groin and is expected to miss about two weeks of play. The Jets reportedly have interest in bringing Pryor back, but that doesn’t mean the Browns can’t steal him away first.Pryor would be a great asset to a wide out core that needs help in a big way, as last week it showed in the teams’ loss at home to the Chargers, where Damion Ratley led the team with six catches. So while names like Dez Bryant and Amari Cooper have been bantered about, Pryor might be a solid fit for the team and their wide out woes. The Browns have scored an AFC North low 128 points this season. Jets are releasing WR Terrelle Pryor today, per league source. Pryor has a tear in his groin and is expected to be out about two weeks. Jets interested in bringing him back when healthy, but other teams also likely to be interested.— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) October 20, 2018 Matt Loede Related TopicsTerrelle Pryorcenter_img Matt Loede has been a part of the Cleveland Sports Media for over 21 years, with experience covering Major League Baseball, National Basketball Association, the National Football League and even high school and college events.
