The successful applicant will be ascholar-practitioner primarily involved with teaching; advising;contributing to scholarly research; directing doctoral work andserving on doctoral committees; building positive relationships andpartnerships with area school districts and state educationagencies dedicated to K-12 education; attending regional and stateadministrative meetings; and identifying and recruiting studentsinto the educational leadership programs. Preferred Qualifications:• Successful administrative leadership experience in K-12 schoolsas a Principal, Superintendent, or District Office role.• Evidence of ability to lead as a scholar-practitioner in bridgingthe gap between scholarship and practice, especially forinstructional and systems improvement.• Experience with grant writing and/or securing externalfunding.• Experience designing and teaching online and blendedcourses• Active principal and/or superintendent license (Idaho orreciprocal in Idaho if out of state).• Knowledge of CAEP and ID State standards, student learningobjectives and the ability to conduct appropriate assessmentswithin the program’s course structure; and• Experience supporting teacher leadership.
