Premier John Hamm has expressed sadness on the death of formerNova Scotia member of Parliament Howard Crosby. Mr. Crosby died Friday, Dec. 12, at the age of 70. “Few members of Parliament from our province spoke with suchpassion and conviction as Howard Crosby did before, during andafter his years in office,” said the premier. “On behalf of allNova Scotians, Genesta and I send our deepest condolences to hiswife, Janet, and the entire Crosby family.” Howard Crosby served as member of Parliament for Halifax Westfrom 1978 to 1993. A member of the Nova Scotia legal professionfor more than 40 years, Mr. Crosby also served as legislativecounsel to the Nova Scotia House of Assembly and earned a Queen’sCounsel.
