UK automotive industry recognised in New Year honours list

The following people have been recognised:Andy Palmer, Executive Vice-President of Nissan Motor Company is recognised in the overseas and Commonwealth list and becomes a Companion of the Order of St Michael and St George (CMG).Carol Holden, Chief Executive of the Northwest Automotive Alliance becomes an OBE.Rachel Eade, Automotive Supply Chain Specialist at the Manufacturing Advisory Service becomes an MBEIain Gray, CEO of the Technology Strategy Board becomes a CBE.Peter Luff MP – Member of Parliament for Mid Worcester and long standing member of the All-party Parliamentary Motor Group is Knighted after many years of public and political service.On behalf of the industry, SMMT congratulates them all on these tremendous achievements. read more
